Under the tutelage of Michael Peterson who is a renowned executive chef, thoughts of flavors, textures, colors and all food concepts arose at the Grand Street Cafe in Kansas City. Executive Chef Peterson is a brilliant self taught culinary artist whose mere presence in the kitchen was an incredible force to be reckoned with. As a friend, business owner, and colleague, his vision, passion, and love for the culinary arts paved the road of enlightenment. This inspiration lead me to be the Executive Chef I am today, one in which I will enjoy for the rest of my life.

From Grand Street Cafe, I ventured to Scottsdale Culinary Institute where I studying intensely for two years. Crafting the art of skill of creating beautiful and savory dishes. During my time at the Culinary Institute, I recieved several awards along with an internship at the acclaimed, French Laundry and Bouchon in Napa Valley. I went on to work for some amazing restaurants such as Sam Fox Concept in Arizona, PB&J Group in Kansas City, and Roy's Restaurant to name a few.

I have a wonderful family who supports my passion and love for the art of food. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, mountain biking, landscape photography, food and sunsets.
